Roles available at the MASH Trust

Community Support Worker

Community Support workers support people who have an experience of a mental illness, or have an intellectual disability and/or physical disability in line with our mission of 'working together to achieve great lives.' A typical shift may involve the following: providing personal care, assisting in preparation of meals and maintaining household standards.  If you are interested in becoming a Community Support Worker we may be able to tailor working hours to suit your lifestyle.

Mobile Support Workers

Mobile support workers visit consumers who are living independently in the community.  Our mobile support workers are extremely team focused, however they are quite autonomous in their day to day work.  Each mobile worker builds a relationship and rapport with the people they support. Flexible working hours is a major advantage of this role.

Registered Nurses

The Registered Nurse is expected to demonstrate a strong preceptorial ability to foster knowledge, skill and nursing practice development with colleagues in implementing nursing care processes. The RN’s develop strong relationships with external Mental Health agencies and provide a focal point that is proactive and responsive to identifying and meeting clients needs based on “best practices” of nursing care.  The Registered Nurse is expected to work in a leadership team with the Lead Support Workers / Team Leaders to ensure the smooth overall running of the house and that the service that the MASH Trust is up to its own very high standards.

Youth Worker

This is an exciting and dynamic service.  Youth workers require commitment and passion in order to create and maintain a safe supportive environment to assist children/youth through a crisis period.
